The Department of Construction Management (CM) provides the student a program of study that prepares one for a variety of positions in the construction industry. The program consists of a management oriented technical curriculum regarding building construction, computer concepts, business and general education. A graduate from the CM program normally finds employment in the residential commercial or heavy civil construction industry. Typical employment opportunities include Cost Estimator, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager and Field Engineer.
The Construction Management Program is accredited by ABET in the specialized program of Applied Science Accreditation Commission (ASAC). ABET accreditation provides assurance that a college program meets the quality standards established by the profession for which the program prepares its students.
The Construction Management Programs is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education. ACCE accreditation certifies that the UNF BCM program has the necessary foundation for undergraduate students to become successful in the construction industry.
