The Center for Community-Based Learning recognizes up to 25 graduating students each semester who greatly excel in engagement and service to their community by demonstrating personal development, intellectual growth, and positive community impact as a result of their community engagement experiences.

Senior Service Award
The Senior Service Award honors a graduating senior each commencement ceremony who has made significant contributions to the University and/or the community through volunteerism while maintaining an outstanding academic record.
Caring Award
The Albert D. Ernest, Jr., Caring Award and the Bill and Angie Halamandaris Caring Internship are awarded to two students who embody the spirit of caring, volunteerism, and humanitarianism.
