Chris Janson earned a B.S. in World Literature from Central Michigan University, a M.A. in Counseling from Central Michigan University, and a Ph. D. in Counselor Education from Kent State University.
Marnie Jones, PhD - Associate Dean, Arts & Sciences
Having learned about community-based learning in 1993, Dr. Marnie Jones took responsibility for implementing it into the Honors curriculum at UNF. She has developed several CBTL courses along the way including The Church in the World, Introduction to Literature, and Community Forum.
Marcia Ladendorff, M.A. - Instructor, Communication
Marcia Ladendorff earned a B.A. in communication from Arizona State University and then worked for some 22 years in various media positions including camera person, editor, reporter, anchor, and producer.
Stephynie Perkins, PhD - Associate Professor, Public Relations
Stephynie Perkins earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Tennessee and then migrated to the University of Florida to earn a Ph. D. in public relations. She joined the University of North Florida as a faculty member in 2003 and has used the community-based model to inform her instruction for years.
JeffriAnne Wilder, PhD - Assistant Professor, Sociology
JeffriAnne Wilder is an Assistant Professor of Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences. She received her Ph.D. in Sociology, with a concentration on Women’s Studies and Gender Research from the University of Florida.
