Carmellina, RN, and Victor Borges, MD, Clinical Fellowship

Donor Criteria

  • meet graduate admission requirements and be accepted into the University of North Florida
  • be enrolled in one of the clinical doctoral degree programs in healthcare with first preference to a student in the Doctoral Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice degree program
  • have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • regardless of nationality, the fellowship will be awarded to students who either were born in India or have at least one relative (parent, grandparent or great grandparent) who was born in India, with first preference given to students who either were born in the state of Goa, India or have at least one relative (parent, grandparent or great grandparent) who was born in the state of Goa, India
  • Award cannot exceed 55% of recipient’s total tuition and fees per academic year
  • demonstrate financial need as defined by UNF Financial Aid Office
  • complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • be selected by a committee chosen by the Dean of BCH 

Student Responsibility

  • enroll full time each semester (at least 9 credit hours) and earn a minimum of 18 credits by end of academic year
  • maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus
  • consent to release grades to the University Development and Alumni Engagement Division for reporting to donors
  • remain in good standing as a student with the University
