I am interested in animal behavior and cognition, including problem solving, learning, and social aspects of cognition in non-human primates.  More specific topics include: mirror self-recognition ability and the influence of genotype in chimpanzees, effective tool use in chimpanzees, and differences in physical and social tool using strategies in chimpanzees and bonobos.
