Biography

Dr. Kaushal has been in the field of academics for the past 15 years. She has worked with various engineering colleges and Universities in India and the United States. Before joining the University of North Florida, she was working with American Public University. She did her Ph.D. in Electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India in 2012. She has worked on industry-sponsored projects from the Aeronautical Development Agency and Indian Space Research Organization. She is the author of a book on "Free Space Optical Communication" with Springer publisher. She has published several papers in top-tier international journals and conferences. Her research interests are in the field of free-space optical commutation, hybrid 5G RF/optical transmission system for the next generation and hybrid  RF/optical relay networks.
