Biography

Prior to joining the University of North Florida in 2018, Dr. Simsiriwong was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Laboratory for Fatigue and Additive Manufacturing Excellence (FAME) at Auburn University. She worked as Postdoctoral Associate at the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS) at Mississippi State University (MSU) during 2014-2016. Her research background is in fatigue, failure analysis, and fracture mechanics, additive manufacturing, and mechanical behavior of materials including metals, polymers and composites. She has taught various courses in solid mechanics including Statics, Strength of Materials, and Machine Design.
