Biography

I have many years of experience in caring for patients in a variety of settings. I found that teaching nursing students was my passion once I became a preceptor for them at the VA Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia. Upon earning my Masters Degree in Family Community Health Nursing I began teaching Nursing. As a Community Health Nursing Instructor, I have had numerous opportunities to work with vulnerable populations in various community settings. These experiences have led to my continuing study in reproductive health, teen pregnancy, ADHD, hospice nursing and higher education.
