As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Ms. Viafora teaches a face-to-face section of HSC 2100 Personal and Community Health. She is also a Research Assistant at the Duval County Health Department's Public Health and Informatics Department, working on a health promotion counseling study investigating what types of HIV-prevention messages work best for people in the Jacksonville, Fl area. In addition, she is a Graduate Research Assistant at UNF, working with a professor in the School of Nursing on two literature reviews.
Won 4th place at UNF's Brooks College of Health poster contest, April 2012, for "The Role of Primary Care in HIV Testing: What has Changed Post-2006 CDC Revised Guidelines?"
