David G. Jaeger is the Chair of the Department of Accounting & Finance and the Director of the Master of Accountancy Program in the Coggin College of Business at the University of North Florida. Prior to joining the faculty at UNF he was a member of the accounting faculty at the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore and at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He has also worked for a law firm and an international accounting firm in the taxation area.
He has taught numerous courses in taxation at the undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, and Master of Accountancy levels, as well as in continuing education courses. He has also given numerous presentations at both academic and professional meetings.
His research has been published in such journals as the Journal of Accountancy, Strategic Finance, The Tax Adviser, Research in Accounting Regulation, TAXES, Tax Notes, and the Journal of Business and Accounting. His work has also been cited by the U.S. Tax Court, several U.S. Federal Courts of Appeal, and in the proceedings of a U.S. Supreme Court case.
