I was born and raised in Jacksonville and, with my father, developed two golf courses, several residential communities and several commercial properties. From 1983-1988, I served on the Jacksonville Planning Commission, the last two years as Chairman. In 1989 and 1990, I served on the Jacksonville Port Authority as Chairman of the Marine Committee. For the past twenty years, I have been an Instructor of Economics at UNF. I am a licensed Commercial Pilot, with Instrument and multi-engine ratings..
