The Training & Development Committee helps advisors stay up to date on training methodologies and policies to best support students.

How does this happen?

  • Professional development opportunities during monthly AAC meetings, quarterly webinars, annual retreats, etc.
  • Access to advisor training resources in collaboration with the Director of Academic Support Services
  • Promotion of membership and participation in State (FLACADA) and National (NACADA) Advisor Organizations as presenters, attendees, as well as involvement in commissions and interest groups, etc.
