Michele Johnson Moore is an Associate Professor in the Brooks College of Health, Department of Public Health. She received her MHSE and PhD degrees from the University of Florida.

Michele has been at UNF since fall of 1999 and currently teaches Foundations of Community Health, Sexuality Education, Public Health Capstone and Public Health Internship in the community health and public health programs. Her research is focused on substance abuse prevention and sexuality education programming for adolescents and young adults. She has worked on a number of federally funded research projects to implement and evaluate such programs. This work is directly applicable to and helps enhance the courses she teaches.

Michele has published in journals such as the Journal of American College Health, American Journal of Sexuality Education, Health Promotion Practice and Substance Use & Misuse.
