D. Rob Haley
D. Rob Haley PhD, MBA. MHS is an Assistant Professor in the Brooks College of Health where he teaches in the Department of Public Health’s Health Administration Programs. His research is focused on the delivery and financing of healthcare services in a rapidly changing and global economy. He earned his Ph.D. in Health Policy and Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Gillings School of Public Health, his MBA from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business Administration, and his MHA from the University of Florida’s College of Public Health and Health Professions. Rob currently teaches Health Policy, Health Care Marketing, Quality Management in Health Care and Health Organization and Delivery at UNF.
Rob was recently named and awarded China’s 2010 Visiting Scholar Grant with China’s Center for Health Management and Policy and Shandong University. He is a J. William Fulbright Senior Specialist in Global and Public Health and is serving as a Fellow with the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). Rob is also a senior advisor for Egypt’s Tanta University focusing on healthcare re-form. Rob designed and implemented the 2007 US and China Health Care Summits in Hong Kong, Shandong and Qingdao (China) as well as the 2008 Fulbright Healthcare Summits in Tanta and Cairo (Egypt).
Rob is a recipient of the University of North Florida’s Outstanding International Leadership Awards. His research is focused on the delivery, access and financing of healthcare within a global market. He has published in many journals including Inquiry, Health Policy, World Hospital and Health Services, Journal of Health Administration and Education, and others.
