Celeste’s career with UNF began in 1985 when she worked in the President’s Office, (President’s McCray, McTarnaghan and Herbert), and then was an Administrative Assistant Office to the Vice President for Student Affairs Office. In 1991 she relocated to Ocala, Florida where she married her husband and remained there until 2002. Her interim work experience before returning to UNF included Supervisor of Accounts Receivable at the Ocala Heart Institute, homeschooling her daughter for eight years and then Office Manager at San Jose Episcopal Day School. Celeste rejoined the UNF community in May 2009 when she helped to open the Student Union as the Office Manager for the Student Union Administration. She joined Student Government as the Office Manager in the Business and Accounting Office, served as the Student Government Coordinator, and is currently serving as the Director of Student Government. Her duties and responsibilities include working with the Student Government Branch Heads as well as overseeing the entire department.
Margaret is a Spring 2013 UNF graduate with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and minor in Professional Education. During her time as a student, Margaret was heavily involved on campus with a main focus in Student Government and Sorority life. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and now has two sisters attending the University. She is also involved in her local sorority’s Alumnae chapter and enjoys spending time volunteering.
A native of Mansfield, OH, Victoria graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Humanities and is currently enrolled in the Higher Education Administration Master’s Program here at UNF. Victoria has lived in Florida since 1975 where she met and married her husband, Brian. For a short time she lived in New York while her husband completed his graduate degree.
Prior to moving to Jacksonville, Victoria worked for a non-profit, private and public administrations. Her last position was in governmental administration as the Assistant to the Town Manager and Deputy Town Clerk for the Town of Lantana. Victoria moved to Jacksonville in 2010 when her husband enrolled in UNF’s Doctorate of Education program, and was hired as the Office Manager for the Student Union Administration. After working in that office for two years, she became the Office Manager for Student Government and now has the position as Student Government Advisor, where she oversees the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches of Student Government.
Victoria and her husband have three children and six grandchildren.
Erin Campbell began her college career as a student right here at the University of North Florida in the fall of 2008. Throughout her time as a student at UNF, she spent a lot of time involved in her church's college ministry and campus activities. In December of 2012, she transitioned from student to staff after she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Erin started out in Student Government as an Accounting Associate and shifted into the Office Manager role in October of 2013. In July of 2015, her responsibilities shifted from working in the Business Office to providing support to the Director and overseeing the support structure of the department. Before joining the staff at UNF, Erin worked at Crispers for 5 years, and more recently at Jersey Mike's. Erin loves to travel, tell jokes, and spend time with her family and friends. She is also involved in a local church band and enjoys playing guitar and singing.
Kayleigh Harrison is an alumna of the university and graduated with
her Bachelor’s in Communication with a concentration in Journalism and a minor
in American Sign Language/Deaf Studies. While studying at UNF, Kayleigh
was involved with many organizations on campus, including Student Government,
Housing and Residence Life and the Communication Department. She enjoys
volunteering, exercising and spending time outdoors.
Annie Gordon is a native of Jacksonville. After high school,
she moved to Atlanta, GA and attend Mercer University. While in college, she
met and married her loving husband. Their union blessed them with two beautiful
daughters. While homeschooling her daughters, she started 21st Century
Tots. She has always enjoyed working with children, so she remains active in her
church, GAL, PTSA and a host of community volunteer programs. During her spare
time, she enjoys traveling, sports and reading.
Business & Accounting Office
Dawn Knipe has a varied background in higher education that
includes student development, financial management, and enrollment services. Prior to joining the SG staff, she enjoyed an
extensive career at Pace University in New York City where most recently she was
Director of Enrollment Services and had budgetary responsibility for the
Division of Enrollment Management. She
has also served as Assistant Dean for Students and Director of the Schimmel
Center for the Arts. At Pace Dawn
obtained her MBA from the Lubin School of Business and her BA in Dramatic Arts
from the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences.
Although her first passion is working with student leaders, she also
enjoys theater and the arts, especially directing new plays by aspiring playwrights.
Lucy Tison comes to UNF from Neptune Baptist Church where she served as the Ministry Assistant to the Worship Arts Ministry. Prior to that she was a stay at home mom for 18 years where she was actively involved with the PTA and volunteering at her children’s schools. She began her career in the Mortgage Banking industry where she advanced from clerk to Loan Officer for Southeast Banks, NA. Lucy is married, has two children and two perfect grandchildren whom she loves spending time with.
Erica R. Calorel
Erica has previously worked at the University
of North Florida for four and a half years in the Child
Development Center. She comes to the SG Business & Accounting
office with varied knowledge of University procedures, as well as many years of
outstanding customer service. Erica enjoys drawing, dance, and most of all
loves everything Harry Potter. Erica is currently taking classes toward a Business Administration degree and is minoring in Graphic Design. She looks forward to continuing her education
here at UNF.
Katrina Willis comes to the University of North Florida with a
background in customer service, payroll, and budget planning. She also has experience organizing educational
workshops, coordinating travel and processing expenses. Originally from Ohio, Katrina travelled
internationally for several years doing missions and relief work before
settling in Jacksonville, FL. She is
looking forward to continuing her education at UNF. Katrina enjoys spending time with family, traveling
Tim Barnes comes to UNF with over 10 years of Banking and Customer
service experience. He is a native of San Diego, CA and moved to
Jacksonville in July of 2014. Tim received his Bachelor’s degree from San
Diego State University. When not at work, he loves to spend time with his
wife Connie, and his two Labs Barney and Junior. In addition, he enjoys
golfing, riding his motorcycle up and down the coast, watching sports and
