Michael McGuire lived in Central Florida for most of his life, but moved to Jacksonville in 2004 to pursue a collegiate degree. He graduated from the University of North Florida in 2009 with a degree in Business Management; and obtained his MBA from UNF in 2013. Michael started his collegiate career at Jacksonville University where he resided for the first two years of his studies before transferring to UNF. Michael began working for UNF in 2007. His UNF experience covers several departments including, the Financial Systems Department, Academic Affairs, General Counsel, and Transportation and Logistics Department. Michael enjoys running, mountain biking, and kayaking.
Celeste’s career with UNF began in 1985 when she worked in the President’s Office, (President’s McCray, McTarnaghan and Herbert), and then was an Administrative Assistant Office to the Vice President for Student Affairs Office. In 1991 she relocated to Ocala, Florida where she married her husband and remained there until 2002. Her interim work experience before returning to UNF included Supervisor of Accounts Receivable at the Ocala Heart Institute, homeschooling her daughter for eight years and then Office Manager at San Jose Episcopal Day School. Celeste rejoined the UNF community in May 2009 when she helped to open the Student Union as the Office Manager for the Student Union Administration. She joined Student Government as the Office Manager in the Business and Accounting Office and currently Celeste serves as the Student Government Coordinator. Her duties and responsibilities include working with the Student Government Director and the Student Government Branch Heads.
Margaret entered the University of North Florida in Fall 2008 and immediately got involved on campus by working in Student Government and joining a Sorority. Within Student Government, Margaret has worked as a Student Assistant, Senate Secretary, Club Alliance Director and Deputy Chief of Staff. She joined the Professional Staff as the Programming Coordinator, and has been recently promoted to the Program Advisor. Aside from Student Government, she has been very active within Greek Life. She has served as the Vice President, Ritual Chairman, Sisterhood Chairman, a Recruitment Counselor, and on many committees within her Sorority. She now holds the office of Panhellenic President which overlooks the Executive Board and they make sure that each sorority is being held to a highest standard. She is both excited and ready to work for the students this year and is eager to see what’s to come in the future.
Victoria Shore has currently accepted a position as Advisor in Student Government. In her new role, Victoria oversees the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches of Student Government. She was originally hired to serve as the Office Manager for the Student Union Administration in 2010.
Prior to joining UNF, Victoria developed her skill set in the areas of non-profit, private, and public administration. In the last thirteen years, she has worked in a law office in Lakeland, Florida perfecting her understanding of policy, regulations, and bookkeeping. Later she worked in finance management with an international organization, which during her tenure she was instrumental in increasing revenues by assisting dialysis patients will full funding for dialysis treatment. She continued to expand her financial knowledge and further develop her interpersonal skills in governmental administration as an Assistant to the Town Manager in Lantana, Florida.
Lucy Tison comes to UNF from Neptune Baptist Church where she
served as the Ministry Assistant to the Worship Arts Ministry. Prior to
that she was a stay at home mom for 18 years where she was actively involved
with the PTA and volunteering at her children’s schools. She began her
career in the Mortgage Banking industry where she advanced from clerk to Loan
Officer for Southeast Banks, NA. Lucy is married, has two children and
two perfect grandchildren whom she loves spending time with.
Business & Accounting Office
Angela Rivera graduated from the University of North Florida in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While attending UNF, Angela was involved in Student Government, first becoming a Senator then joining the Executive Cabinet as Deputy Chief of Staff for President Justin Damiano. Before returning to UNF, Angela worked in the legal field and became a Florida Registered Paralegal. Angela enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, traveling, cooking and being with her two perfect poodles.
Erin Campbell began her college career as a student right here at the University of North Florida in the fall of 2008. Throughout her time as a student at UNF, she spent a lot of time involved in her church's college ministry and campus activities. In December of 2012, she transitioned from student to staff after she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Erin started out in Student Government as an Accounting Associate and shifted into the Office Manager role in October of 2013. Before joining the staff at UNF, Erin worked at Crispers for 5 years, and more recently at Jersey Mike's. Erin loves to travel, tell jokes, and spend time with her family and friends. She is also involved in a local church band and enjoys playing guitar and singing.
Devon comes to the Student Government Business and Accounting Office with five years of retail banking experience. A native of Jacksonville, he has devoted his life in ministry at his family's church. Devon has an Associates in Arts degree from Florida State College of Jacksonville and looks forward to continuing his education at the University of North Florida. Devon enjoys watching sports, traveling, kayaking at his family's lake house and working on his racecar.
Jessica Brown is currently working on her Bachelor's degree with plans to complete it at the University of North Florida. She has over four years' experience with the University working as an administrative secretary with the School of Nursing and as an office manager for the Honors Program. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and relaxing at home with a good movie.
Katrina Willis comes to the University of North Florida with a
background in customer service, payroll, and budget planning. She also has experience organizing educational
workshops, coordinating travel and processing expenses. Originally from Ohio, Katrina travelled
internationally for several years doing missions and relief work before
settling in Jacksonville, FL. She is
looking forward to continuing her education at UNF. Katrina enjoys spending time with family, traveling
