The purpose of the Executive Cabinet is to advise the President and Vice-President on general matters and to assist in the coordination of the Executive Branch. The main duties of the Cabinet are to complete any initiatives, projects, events, and others deemed necessary by the President.
Christopher Turner was born in Jacksonville, Florida but grew up in South
Florida where he attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School. Joseph
started at UNF in the fall of 2011 and on his first day of class he came before
Senate to begin his appointment process to the Student Senate. A few months
after his appointment, he was elected by his peers to the position of Senate
Parliamentarian. His diligent work within Senate earned him the honor of
‘Outstanding Senator of the Year’. Former President Matthew Brockelman
appointed Joseph to the office of Attorney General in February 2012. Joseph
served the student body in that same role the following year for the
Fassi-Naughton administration. He has returned to Student Government to serve
as Student Body Treasurer. He hopes to be able to work with student, clubs, and
departments in order to facilitate the effective allocation and fiscally
responsible expenditure of the Activity and Service Fee. Joseph cares deeply
for the University of North Florida and hopes to continue to serve students
throughout his time here. Joseph is majoring in Finance and hopes to continue
onto law school after he graduates UNF.
Hailey Guerra was born and raised in Miami, Florida where she was part of the Legal and Public Affairs Academy at Coral Reef Senior High school. She moved to Jacksonville in the fall of 2012 to attend the University of North Florida and joined the Judicial Branch as an Associate Justice under Chief Justice Goetz. At the end of her freshman year, she was appointed under the Fassi-Namen administration as Director of Governmental Affairs. Hailey is passionate about issues facing our student's at the state level and hopes to serve as an advocate for Higher Education. When she is not spending her time in the executive cabinet, Hailey is an active member of her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. Currently, Hailey is a sophomore double-majoring in Political Science and Criminal Justice. After graduating she hopes to go on to law school and work for the state attorney's office.
Ryan Palmer Traher was born in Nashville, Tennessee and moved to Franklin, Tennessee in 1997. Then in 2002, he relocated to Longwood, Florida, where he graduated from Lake Brantley High school in 2010. He started at the University of North Florida in Fall 2010 pursuing a degree in Communication with a focus in Public Relations. His minor is Psychology, and he'll graduate in Spring 2014. While at UNF, Ryan has been a member of Swoop Squad, giving tours around campus and participating as an Orientation Team Leader over the summer for new students. Continuing his favorite hobby of playing Ultimate Frisbee in high school, he regularly plays and travels with the UNF Ultimate team. Currently, he serves as treasurer for the Public Relations Student Society of America UNF Chapter and interned with St. John and Partners Spring 2013. Ryan's aspires to conduct public relations work for a non-profit organization focused on public education reform.
Alin Cepoi is an international student from Romania. At the age of fifteen, he and his family moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where he attended Mandarin High School. Entering UNF in the fall of 2010, Alin was determined to excel in his studies as well as get involved in campus activities. During his freshman and sophomore years, he volunteered as a Calculus and Statistics tutor at UNF's Academic Center for Excellence. During his third year, he served as a Student Assistant at UNF's Student Government. Observing the productive daily activities of his colleagues in SG, Alin decided to continue his service for his fellow Ospreys by representing them as a Student Advocate and helping them cooperate with their campus problems. Alin is also a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity where he is involved in the fraternity's philanthropic events and a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars where he serves as the vice president of PACE (Path to Achieve Collegiate Experience).
