Executive Branch

The Executive Branch works to address student concerns on campus. Members of the Executive Branch help the student body in multiple ways. Their duties include serving on university committees, speaking at events, working with athletes, Greek and other groups and organizations, as well as coordinating activities for students. The Executive Branch is comprised of the Executive Cabinet and Executive Agencies.

Caleb Grantham   



Caleb Grantham grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, where he attended Bartram Trail High School. He started at UNF in the fall of 2014, majoring in Mechanical Engineering while also being a student in the Hicks Honors College. During his first semester, Caleb went through the process for Senate appointment with the desire to make a positive impact on campus. After serving as Senate President Pro-Tempore for the past year, Caleb made the decision to move to the Executive Branch and serve in the capacity of Chief of Staff. While in office Caleb hopes to provide opportunities for both students and student government officials to work together to better the university.

Bella Genta 



Originally from Sarasota, Florida, Bella graduated from Pine View School in 2014, before attending UNF. She is currently a junior at UNF, majoring in International Relations and minoring in Environmental Studies. During her time at UNF, she has been an active student in the Hicks Honors College, a sister of Delta Gamma, served as a research assistant, and completed two study abroad programs. Bella plans to graduate in Spring of 2018 and continue her education by pursuing a master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development. She hopes to one day work for a subsect of the United Nations Environmental Programme.

 Rachel Bryant 

Rachel is a junior from Palm Bay, Florida who is double majoring in Political Science and History while double minoring in Chinese as well as Political Campaign and Advocacy. Rachel is heavily involved in campus life and several student run organizations, including a position on the executive staff of Model United Nations. An ardent supporter of peoples’ involvement in government, she has volunteered for and been employed by numerous local, state, and federal campaigns. She spent the first half of 2016 working for the National Republican Congressional Committee in Washington, DC. After college, she is looking forward to obtaining her masters in Political Science in the North East, with an end goal of one day working for the White House.

Alejandro Nieto


 Alejandro is an international student from Venezuela. He is currently a senior majoring in International Business. Before coming to the US to pursue his bachelor degree at UNF, he graduated with an associate's degree in Advertising and Marketing in Venezuela. Since then, he has been actively involved in leadership positions in Venezuela, Colombia and now in the US, in which he has been able to learn and grow personally and professionally.
Alejandro loves his career and enjoys having been born in the Digital Generation. He is the father of two beautiful children, Lucas and Dana, and is married to Anais Santos. He loves to read, be with his family and to play soccer. Alejandro is expected to graduate the fall of 2016; after his graduation he plans to further his career in the business world within a multinational corporation whilst continuing to educate himself by pursuing a Master Degree of Science in Business Analytics.

Chavon Thomas


Chavon is a Master’s student studying Educational Leadership here at UNF. She is originally from Rochester, New York. Chavon relocated to Jacksonville, Florida after completing her Bachelor’s in Women’s Studies, Public Policy and Writing in 2015. Upon moving to Jacksonville, Chavon volunteered a year of service for City Year Jacksonville, where she mentored and tutored urban youth, before enrolling into her Master’s program. Chavon is highly passionate about social advocacy and youth mentorship.  She aspires to pair her passions together by opening her own educational facility in the near future.

Abby Goetz


Abby is a sophomore at the University of North Florida. She is majoring in Marketing & Logistics, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Abby is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree and hopes to graduate in the spring of 2018. Abby volunteers with local Girl Scout troops in Jacksonville and Prevent Child Abuse America. After college, Abby intends stay in Jacksonville to pursue a career in advertising.
