Exchange Visitor Program

The Exchange Visitor Program is governed by the U.S. Department of State. The program was created to promote mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries by means of educational and cultural exchange. The Exchange Visitor Program allows academic institutions and other educational exchange organizations to sponsor international scholars to participate in educational and cultural programs in the United States.

For UNF Departments

The Federal regulations for the Exchange Visitor Program have been significantly revised, with the new provisions effective as of January 5, 2015.  If you would like to bring in an international scholar under the Exchange Visitor Program, please contact Dr. Tim Robinson, Director, International Affairs, to make an appointment to go over the new process.  Please review the items below and bring to the meeting.  If you have any questions, contact Dr. Robinson at 620-1099 or trobinso@unf.edu.
