Prepare to take flight as a UNF Osprey by participating in the QUEST Program. Pilots are not sent into the sky without proper training and a chance to practice before they take a solo flight. We recognize that being a student on a quest to achieve academic success and make the most of their collegiate experience is very similar, therefore we recommend a like approach before starting your first semester at UNF as an Osprey.
QUEST is a year-long experience of academic and personal development for underrepresented incoming college freshmen at the University of North Florida. Students are expected to perform well academically and to balance their academic and social lives, sometimes with little to no preparatory training. The Department of Diversity Initiatives is committed to student success and we want everyone to feel prepared for their first solo flight as college students. As such, the aim of QUEST is to ease the transition from high school to college by helping students acclimate to the academic and social aspects of college life.
