By far the most accessible form of funding for graduate students, subsidized and unsubsidized student loans are available from the One-Stop Student Services office. Returning students must reapply for student loans each year. The FAFSA is available January 1 each year.
Steps for Applying for Financial Aid and Loans
Complete the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the renewal online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Our school code is 009841. If you need financial aid beginning in the spring semester, complete a mid-year financial aid request form. If you need aid beginning in the summer semester, complete a summer financial aid request form. Information regarding both forms is available here. UNF recommends that you file your FAFSA each year by April 1.
Please note that in order to be awarded graduate financial aid, a student MUST be accepted into a graduate degree-seeking major by the Graduate School.
If admitted to a graduate degree seeking program, please see the Critical Steps to Financial Aid for the following steps for timely disbursement of your financial aid. Failure to do so will delay the awarding of your financial aid.

Please note that if your award covers only part of your tuition and fees, you will be responsible for any outstanding balance.
