We've had another exciting year at the University of North Florida. Our freshman class entered the University with the highest academic profile ever - the average grade point was 3.84, and the average SAT score was 1208. Nationally, UNF was recognized by some very elite organizations and is showing up on nearly every national college ranking.
Starting with summer 2012, all UNF freshmen will be required to live and dine on campus. Research continues to prove that students who study and live on campus perform better academically and are more connected to the University.
Since 2006, every new building on our campus has been constructed to meet the standards of the U.S. Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. At UNF, we are committed to enhancing and conserving our 1,381 acres while providing state-of-the-art facilities for students, faculty, staff and visitors. There truly is something for everyone at UNF. That is why we say, "No one like you. No place like this."
Please take a few minutes and read about what we've been doing in the past year. You'll be impressed with the depth and breadth of UNF’s impact in our city, state and nation.
