2014-2015 Club List is now available on the Club Information webpage!
Every club is now
required to update their constitutions to include the two following pieces of
information: Jurisdiction and Anti- Hazing guidelines.
The Jurisdiction part
should say something close to the following: “The (insert club name) is
subject, as a registered student organization, to the rules, regulations, and
policies of UNF and the laws of the State of Florida. The rules, regulations
and policies of UNF shall hold precedence over any and all rules, regulations,
and policies applying to the (insert club name), including those of national
organizations with which the (insert club name) is associated.
guidelines should be similar to the following: “The organization will not
conspire to engage in hazing or commit any act that causes or is likely to
cause bodily danger, physical harm, or personal degradation or disgrace
resulting in physical or mental harm to any fellow student or person.” It
should also include UNF’s policy on hazing: “Hazing is defined as any action or
activity of any group or individual which recklessly or intentionally endangers
the mental or physical health or safety of a student for the purposes
including, but not limited to, initiation or admission into or affiliation with
any organization operating under that sanction of the University.”

In order to be allocated funding
for the 2015-2016 fiscal year you must complete the survey. The survey will ask
if you will need your $300 for next year and if you do not click yes than you
will not receive your $300 club funds for next year. It will also give you the
opportunity to request extra operating expenses and travel expenses. If you ask
for the extra funding then you will have to present before the Club Funding
Board for those expenses but if you only ask for $300 you will not have to
present. Anyone will still be able to ask for budget boosts next year though.
The survey is due Friday, March 6th by 5:00 p.m.
If you have any questions that I cannot answer over email about filling this
survey out me and/or Matt will be in the office from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Friday to assist people. If that time does not work for you we can set up an
the survey for funding for
next year. Here is the link to the survey: http://unf.co1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_3QqDjv4QJo8mWON

Club Alliance is an Executive Agency of Student Government and is a recognized group of student leaders who act as representatives of the student body through their membership in their respective organizations. Club Alliance is an umbrella organization of the recognized UNF student groups that acts as a liaison between Student Government and student clubs.
UNF currently has over 200 registered student organizations. However, as the university grows and student interests change, students may want to come together to form new student groups.
