Presidential Envoys Student Alumni Association

In 2001, the Presidential Envoys, organized in the summer of 1985, and the Student Alumni Association, founded in 1998, were merged to create student awareness of the University of North Florida Alumni Association.

The members of the Presidential Envoys Student Alumni Association are the recognized student leaders of UNF who serve as student ambassadors to the Alumni Association and the Office of the President. They provide outstanding service to the campus and community and possess strong leadership and communication skills that will transition them from students to successful alumni.

Envoys also work to encourage students to become involved with UNF and to stay involved after graduating. The Presidential Envoys Student Alumni Association is about building traditions, creating memories and establishing relationships to last a lifetime.

What does PESAA do?

Envoys at Commencement 2014

The Presidential Envoys Student Alumni Association is an organization that provides student leaders with the opportunity to participate in events sponsored by the Alumni Association, the Office of the President and other UNF events. Envoy participation helps the University and its divisions offer more quality events for alumni, friends, faculty and staff while providing networking opportunities for the members. Responsibilities of PESAA members include serving as hosts and hostesses at campus events, assisting the Office of Alumni Engagement and coordinating campus-wide community service to rally other students as well as alumni, faculty and staff together in a joint effort.

Presidential Envoys participate in a wide array of events and activities such as:

  • Volunteering at Commencement Ceremonies
  • Serving as volunteers for various on-campus department and clubs
  • Volunteering with community nonprofit organizations on behalf of UNF and the UNF Alumni Association
  • Spirit Spotting on UNF campus
  • Attending and assisting with Alumni Association events
  • Homecoming
  • Various student engagement activities

The Presidential Envoys Student Alumni Association has such a wide variety of activities and membership benefits, there is something for EVERYONE! You can take leadership roles, enjoy the social opportunities, network with professionals, any or all, it's up to you and what you want.

Envoys at Conference 2015

Presidential Envoys are honored to serve as ambassadors for the University as well as our fellow students, alumni and community and we look forward to welcoming you on board!
