P A N D I O N
Pandion is a taxonomic or classification reference, the scientific name for a genus of birds of prey known as the Osprey -- it is, in fact, the only genus of the family Pandionidae.
PANDION: The Osprey Journal of Research and Ideas is an online and print journal showcasing outstanding faculty-mentored and faculty-endorsed student scholarship at the University of North Florida. PANDION is interdisciplinary, and features undergraduate and graduate student research and creative projects with research components from colleges and departments across the university. Sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research, PANDION aims for a broad audience: from Jacksonville to the world.

The first issue of PANDION, Vol. 1, No. 1 appeared online through Digital Commons on July 31, 2020, and Vol. 1, No. 2 was published online on August 31, 2020. The inaugural print issue followed in the Fall 2020 semester.
PANDION, Vol. 2 will appear online in Digital Commons in August 2021 and in print in October 2021.
