Hello, my Name is Jessie and I am a current student at the University of North Florida.
I have saying that I like very much due to recent developments in my life:
It is better to have a few good friends that you can trust with your life
than a million aquaintances you can't trust at all.
It is very hard to put your faith and trust in someone or something, especially when at some point,it is guaranteed to be broken. This is Life. The emotional rollercoaster that we all take a ride on. Lately I have learned that there are two things that you can do with your life when the coaster hits the slow, lowest part of the ride:
1. Wait patiently, and stay as strong as possible, for the ride back to the top, where everything becomes exciting again.
or
2. Get off here and watch as everyone else, slowly but surely gets back to the exciting part of life.
Which would you choose? Honestly, I chose the latter option until recently. That was the worst mistake I could have made. I missed too much, but now I am trying to regain the smiles that I lost. So now, I have jumped back onto that damn rollercoaster, hoping to enjoy my life as much as I did before.
I did learn one thing in all of this:
It is okay to be scared. Everyone is. But you also have to have the guts
that it takes to get back into swing of things and trust again. Love again. Smile again.
