Trip to Big Sky, MT and Whistler, B.C.
Both of these trips were made during the '97-'98 ski season. The first was to Big Sky, MT with my friends Paul Eykamp and Beate Winkelman on the ski free-for-all called ALL CAL. For those of you who do not know what ALL CAL is, it is a week where at least five University of California schools converge on a ski resort and have their way with it: ski all day and party all night. By the end of it, the students are exhausted but happy.
This was my third ALL CAL trip. This one was definitely interesting in its own right.
The second trip was to Whistler/Blackcomb, B.C. just outside of Vancouver. It was made with four of our closest friends: Susan Harris & Jeremy Meyers and Vita Ivancevic & Steve Tuch. After skiing much of Colorado I would have to say that Whistler was excellent. (Their longest trail was 7 miles long! And their back bowls were superb!) I think they'd agree that a good time was had by all and that we should repeat the trip - maybe this time to Tahoe? - this coming season.
