I am writing a book in Finite Math and researching both the Energy of Graphs and fMRI data of epilepsy patients!

Welcome to my Web Page. As you can see this page includes links to my personal as well as my academic life. I invite you to browse the site and get to know me, the people in my life, and my work. 

I do research in computational science with specialties in properties of graphs, spectral graph theory, theoretical models of communication networks and the related Fourier and Radon analysis associated with graphs. I also love number theory and complex analysis in single variables.

I graduated with my Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego in 1998. My adviser Audrey Terras is a wonderful mathematician and friend. I am also grateful for all of the help from Harold Stark and Ron EvansFan Chung Graham is also an influence of mine as well as Winnie Li.

There are three men and a dog in my life who are very important to me: Ethan, Noah, Brad and Kipper, our Australian Shepard. I also have photos of some of my trips: Vail (2009-10), Breckenridge, Belize, Honduras, Mexico, Hawaii, Sweden, Denmark, England, Whistler, B.C. and Big Sky, Montana, river rafting in Venezuela, scuba diving in Hawaii, Costa Rica, Turks & Caicos, Cozumel, Caymans and Aruba. In past years I have visited 24 countries on 3 continents.
