  • Hello boys and girls. I am BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!
    Instead of swimming, biking, and running, we run one mile on the beach (soft sand--YIKE!), ride 13.5 miles, and run again 3.1 miles... The reason is because strong waves and other stuff in the water (besides shark!). So, I guess you can't call this a triathlon; instead, it's a duathlon...

  • Well, due to road construction at about half point mark of the bike, we, therefore, go back to the old route that we used 4 or so years ago! So, the distance of bike ride is only 11 miles instead of 13.5 miles... However, this time we get a chance to swim in the ocean! Now, I remember exactly what a salt water tastes like.

  • We end up using the same bike route from last month so it is 0.25 mile swim, 11 miles bike, and 3.1 miles run...

  • It's raining on and off the whole time so it is not a pretty race especially on the bike (with hills and sharp turns). This is the first time I've done a triathlon in a rain so it's quite interesting...
