Ken
Martin

is immediate past President (1999-2001) of the
CSAB
(recipient of its Distinguished Service Award in 1994 and
2001 and a past Chair of
CSAC), a member of the
IEEE-CS Technical Activities Board and its Awards Committee,
the IEEE-CS
Educational
Activities Board , and the Association for
Computing Machinery. He is Professor of Computer and Information
Sciences in the College of
Computing
Sciences
and Engineering at the University
of North Florida. Students are encouraged to join the ACM, the
IEEE-CS, and/or the AITP.
Education: B.A. (Summa Cum Laude) in
Mathematics from St.
Benedict's College; M.A. in Mathematics from Indiana University; M.S. in
Computing Sciences Education from the
University of Evansville; Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame.
