I'm one of the few gray-haired old gimps you'll see occasionally on the campus of the University of North Florida (UNF). "Non-traditional student" is a polite way of saying "older than dirt" on a college campus. But you're only as old as you feel.
How old I feel depends on my friend Arthur. Arthur-itis, that is. But he doesn't bother me that much, most days.
About me: Young at Heart; Crazy in the Head.
More about my past lives.
About my future plans: Why I'm here at UNF.
Some observations on the differences between being a college student in the 1960s and being a college student in the first decade of the 21st Century: What a Difference Four Decades Make!
Some links to things I enjoy:
My "civilian" web page
The Hounds of the Internet, a scion society of the Baker Street Irregulars. The Hounds is a mailing list for discussion of the Sherlock Holmes stories and novels of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Big Fish Games, source of a lot of ill-spent time on my part, home of some VERY addictive games!
Dizpins, a discussion board and fun place for people who are addicted to Disney pin trading. What are Disney pins? Go to Dizpins and find out . . . But be warned! It is addictive!
Crime Scene Investigation. No, this isn't the TV show, though I am awfully fond of that, too. This is a website by professionals for professionals and aspiring professionals. If I were a youngster choosing a major today, this could very well be it.
