Hey y'all
I know, it HAS been a very long time since I posted any new photos and videos. As I have said in the past, this web page is a labor of love. The labor part was getting to me. But here I am with a weekend to myself, all alone, bad weather called for so no kayaking, Dot entertaining out of town relatives . . etc etc etc.
So I thought . . what the heck. I'll spend the time and relive some of the past few outings we have had and have more or less kept to ourselves. With the exceptions of the friends we were with on occasion.
I am debating on whether to keep this 'structured', as in chronographically, or just go with moments in time. I think I'll just go with the moments in time concept. After all, isn't that what 'memory' is all about . . . 'moments in time'.
On that note, this first video is of a weekend outing that Dot and I did something totally different. My idea. And what a fun day we had.
I decided that we would leave the kayaks at home and drive up to Stephen Foster State Park at Fargo, Georgia and rent a jon-boat for the day. The price is very hard to beat. We got ourselves a 12 foot jon-boat with a 3 hp gasoline motor and all the gas we would need for an 8 hour outing for just $45. What a bargain !! If anyone out there would like to join Dot and I for another motorized outing in the Okeefenokee Swamp, sharing the costs and all, email me and let me know. I know, my email contact is no longer listed on this web page, but then, my 'friends' will know how to get in touch with me.
