Since I am 'on-call' for the next two weeks and can't stray too far from home. On Saturday, 9/23/06, Dot and I went to the Jacksonville Zoo and Biological Gardens. We both agreed that we did more sweating walking around than we do when we are out kayaking. Go figure. 

Since it is the zoo, few comments are needed. Enjoy!

After sucking water from the pool into the mudhole, they used their feet to make mud.

Then they sucked up the mud with their trunks and sprayed down their bodies.

One of the new additions to the zoo is a Children's Play Park which includes this wading pool.
