Assesing cognitive functions of completely paralyzed ALS patients,
who use their EEG to control the cursor on a computer monitor.

The monitor shows a choice of two stimuli and a small ball. By controlling their EEG the patients
can move the ball up or down to select one of the stimuli. By asking questions to the patients
and having one of the stimuli being the correct answer, this method can be used to assess
their cognitive abilities.
