Floyd Miller finds ADVENTURE !
EXCITEMENT and BEAUTY! in the
GRAND CANYON

Welcome!

Our guides were Hualapai tribal members with more than 14 years of experience in Grand Canyon guiding. The Hualapais, owns over 100 miles of magnificent canyon land. The side canyons were home for the Hualapai people. Oral history is rich, with knowledge of the native plants and animals.  A trip into the Grand Canyon offers a look into the Earth's creation... magnificent lava beds carved by the great Colorado River, crested by layers of vermillion sandstone and fossilized limestone. We didn't miss this chance to travel back through time.

Our trip started in Peach Springs, Arizona, on Route 66 between Seligman and Kingman, less than three hours from Las Vegas, NV or Flagstafff, AZ. Morning pick-up was in front of each lodge and was on an old school bus for a dirt road plunge into the canyon to the launch place at river's edge.

WOW! What a start...
then the first rapid was a #10 and all got wet...very wet. The next few days went rapidly and we arrived at the lake behind Hoover Dam safely.
