Eli F. Born: Dec. 25, 1836 in Adams County, PA. May have been named after grandfather.

In the 1860 Federal Census of Newton Twp, Cumberland County, PA. age 24

On 1862.08.13 enlisted in 130th PA Vols at Harrisburg, PA.

On 1864.08.13 enlisted in 207th PA Vols at Oakdale, PA.

In the 1870 Federal Census in South Middleton Twp, Cumberland County, PA. age 34

Was part of the First PA Colony to Kansas leaving April 1st, 1872 from Newville, Cumberland County, with 20 families via train coaches and baggage cars for goods, to the 1871 formed town of Wilson, Ellsworth County, Kansas.
Brother Henry H. and sister Elizabeth DELLINGER' family were on the trip.
By 1878, Eli F. was back from Kansas, probably to help start his brothers on the Third PA Colony.

On the 1890 Civil War Soldiers Roll of Franklin Twp, Adams County, PA, Eli F. is living in McKnightstown.

On the 1890 Civil War Soldiers Roll of Franklin Twp, Adams County, PA, Henry H. is living in McKnightstown. They both served together.

In Lazarus MINICH's Affidavit of 1892, states Eli F. left PA in 1878(?) for Kansas
In 1891 Eli F. in Huntsdale, Cumberland County, PA.

In the 1900 Federal Census of Russell City, KS, Eli F. is in a boarding house.

In 1907 Declaration for Pension, Eli F. states he is 70 years old and a resident of Huntsdale, Penn Twp, Cumberland County, PA.

Died: Nov. 28, 1909 at Latimore Twp, Adams County, PA

Buried at the Mt. Victory Church Cemetary, Garners, Huntington Twp, Adams County, PA
