Homework: You are responsible for being able to work all assigned problems. The recitation quizzes will consist of problems very similar to those assigned. Therefore, it is imperative that you work as many of the problems as possible from those sections assigned each week prior to your recitation section.
Project: You will be assigned to a group of no more than 4 students for the purpose of working in recitation sections and producing a class project at the end of the semester. This project will be due on the date of the final exam. Instructions for this project will be forthcoming.
Blackboard: Lecture notes and homework assignments will be posted in advance on the Blackboard Web management system. Also, any email correspondence necessary during the semester will be done on Blackboard as well. You are responsible for being able to access this web site and should do so at least weekly. Tutorial sessions are available and times will be announced.
