Call for New Officers

It is time for a change of leadership.  The SIG Chair has served for two years. Now, it is your chance to step forward if you are interested in sharing the leadership.

Specifically, the following positions need to be filled:
.  Chair/Program Chair- moving up to SIG Chair
    .  Secretary-Treasurer
.  Newsletter Editor and/or Associate Editor

The present Program Chair, Blythe F. Hinitz will move into the position of SIG Chair.  In this way, there will be a smooth transition to keep our re-vitalized SIG moving forward.

We have compiled a book of Policies and Procedures which will make life much easier for those who follow.  In addition, we also have a Membership Book to pass on to the Secretary-Treasurer.

A brief election will take place at our AERA Business Meeting in New Orleans, but you do not have to be present to be elected.

Presently, most of the SIG business has taken place by e-mail or FAX- so you can live anywhere in the world. Any of these positions also fulfills requirements for Faculty Service to the Profession - and looks great on your evaluations! Please take that important step forward and help out our SIG.

Please send an e-mail message to Aline Stomfay-Stitz, SIG Chair if you are interested in any of the above positions.   astomfay@unf.edu
