Paperwork
Statistics Sheets -- ELAs are expected to carefully keep track of questions that they answer and routines that they fulfill by marking down items on a statistics sheet. Statistics help the library determine traffic patterns and adjust scheduling accordingly and also help to demonstrate the need for assistance at the public LAN. A sample, filled-in statistics sheet is available for viewing online.
Statistics sheets should always be kept up-to-date, since they may be collected at any time for tallying statistics for the month. Blank sheets are kept on a clipboard at the ELA workstation next to the Reference Desk. If an employee notices that the blank sheets are in short supply, he or she should notify one of the supervisors.a copy of the sheet is available online.
Statistical Data -- Beginning with Fiscal Year 2002/2003, summary data for the entire year will be kept at this Web site.
Available Data: FY2002/2003, FY2003/2004, FY2004/2005, FY2005/2006, FY2006/2007
Time Sheets -- ELAs must keep track of their hours worked using the myWings portal . Time sheets must be submitted for approval by 5 PM Wednesday of the second week of the pay period. Time worked should be filled in as it is worked, so the employee should enter time on the sheet when he or she reports to work on a daily basis. The only exception to this is that hours that will be completed after the time sheets are collected should be entered in advance so that the sheet can be submitted for approval on schedule. Supervisors will alert employees if time sheets will go in early.
The current fiscal year's payroll schedule is available online.
A sample, filled-in time sheet is available for viewing online. A step-by-step example of the myWings portal is available for viewing online as well.
Paging Ricoh -- To facilitate calls for printing/copying support, the library maintains an online pager form for contacting the Ricoh technician.
Ricoh manages the library's printing and photocopying services; any problems with the Ricoh equipment should be brought to their attention via electronic pager request. A sample filled-in page request is available online.
Workstation Support -- Workstation equipment problems, network crashes, and other LAN-related problems should be reported to the library's College Technician. Before emailing the College Tech (C-Tech), check with the librarian on duty to make sure that it is appropriate.
