My primary research interests include open economy macroeconomics, international finance and monetary economics. I have worked on the topics such as optimal currency area, foreign exchange intervention, the exchange rate pass-through and the role of floating exchange rate system.
I have taught a wide range of courses which include Intermediate Macroeconomics, International Trade, Introduction to Economic Analysis, Financial Economics, Principle of Macroeconomics and Business Statistics.

I am married with two boys. One boy was born on 02/14/05 (Valentine´s Baby), another boy was born on 08/08/08 (Olympic baby). I am surprised that I could time the birthdays so well! Click here for my family photos(under construction).
I am newly appointed to be the principal of Jacksonville Chinese Association (JCA) Chinese School by the JCA board of directors. JCA Chinese School is the largest Chinese school in the North Florida area. The Mission of the school is to provide educational services, strive for cultural exchanges between the Chinese community and other ethnic groups, and preserve the essence of Chinese culture overseas.
