When is UNF Implementing ERP?

It is UNF’s intent to now begin the process of implementing the SCT Banner System, a fully integrated, enterprise system that will provide users with a full complement of financial, personnel, payroll, purchasing, and student information that functions in an easily accessible “real time” format.

UNF and SCT have joined together in a three-year effort to implement the SCT Banner financial, human resources, financial aid, and student information systems, that will aid in the institution’s move to autonomy from the State of Florida, provide the opportunity to improve institutional effectiveness and efficiency through Business Process analysis and workflow implementation; and improve services to the UNF community through implementation of web-based self-service technologies.

The overall goals of this project are as follows:

  • To implement the baseline product with limited modifications and without losing functionality;
  • Complete the implementation by July 1, 2004 for Banner Finance and January 1, 2005 for Human Resources.
  • Complete the implementation for use of Banner Student and Financial Aid. Financial Aid will be implemented by January 2005. The Student system will be implemented with all modules to support registration by Fall 2005.
