  1. OBJECTIVE & PURPOSE

To implement and integrated marketing and pbranding program for UNF.

  2. STATEMENT OF POLICY

In order to achieve a consistent image for the University, marketing efforts will be coordinated by a campus integrated marketing committee.

  3. STATEMENT OF PROCEDURES
  4. Members of the UNF Integrated Marketing Committee will be appointed by the president on the recommendation of the respective vice presidents of each division. Multiple representatives from the same division are acceptable if they represent units actively involved in existing marketing programs.
The Integrated Marketing Committee will be responsible for three major functions:

    1)   Prepare an invitation to negotiate and solicit proposals from area full service public relations agencies to become the “agency of record” for the University. The committee will interview agencies that apply and make a recommendation to the president. A representative of the agency of record would become a non-voting member of the committee.

    2)  With cooperation of the agency of record, prepare a comprehensive communications plan and branding initiative for the University and forward that recommendation to the president. If adopted, the committee will implement the communications plan and branding program on campus.

    3)   Monitor all marketing programs associated with UNF and identify opportunities for joint initiatives. Require all university units requesting public relations services from outside agencies to consult with the agency of record first to obtain an estimate. Units desiring to contract with another agency would be required to submit a detailed proposal to the Integrated Marketing Committee for approval before proceeding.
