UNF’s highly successful capital campaign, Access to Excellence, has raised more than $103 million in private donations to support student scholarships and to enhance the University’s academic and building programs. I
am excited about becoming the fifth permanent president of the University
of North Florida and looking forward to working with faculty, staff
and the community as we build a stronger institution. Our reputation
for academic excellence is growing. Our 440 full-time faculty help nearly
14,000 students to become the future workforce for the First Coast and
are active participants in the civic life of our community. UNF offers
74 undergraduate and graduate degree programs with students attending
classes on our beautiful 1,300-acre campus. UNF soon will open a new
Science and Engineering Building and is starting on the expansion of
the Thomas G. Carpenter Library.
