University of North Florida Facilities

UNF's scenic campus is nestled among 1,300 acres which includes a nature and wildlife area with lakes and nature trails. A portion of the campus is used for scientific research and has been the site for the annual Envirothon for local schools.

The campus encompasses 26 major buildings with more than 2.8 million square feet of space. The newest residence hall, The Crossings, opened in fall 2001. All 2,000 on-campus residents receive free high speed data access, local phone and cable TV service.

The recently completed $22 million Fine Arts Complex provides office, classroom, studio and lab space for the departments of Communication & Visual Arts and Music.

Future construction projects include expansion of the Library and a new building for the College of Education.
