2. The faculty voted to make MMC3105 Advanced Writing for the Media and MMC3614 Media Theories and Effects co-requisites to help students move through the major more quickly. Currently, MMC3105 Advanced Writing for the Media is a pre-requisite for MMC3614 Media Theories and Effects. Music – Undergraduate

Add a new non-degree program
Certificate - Music Technology and Production Certificate

Summary of the Changes:

This request is to create a Music Technology and Production Certificate. The certificate will serve interested students from any major on campus, and will be open to outside community members as well. This certificate will utilize existing courses and will allow students outside of the limited-access music program to gain access to relevant courses in the field of music technology. Courses in this program will be offered during summer terms to allow for greater access by non-traditional students. No additional courses or resources will be required.
