Change a degree-major-concentration of an existing program

Bachelor of Science - Biology Major Molecular/Cell Bio. & Biotech Concentration

Summary of the Changes:
Four actions are requested as part of this package. 1) Modify ZOO4753C Histology, to no longer be a lab combined course. The new course will be ZOO4753 Histology, without lab; 2) Remove ZOO4753C Histology from the Biotechniques section of the POS. 3)Add MCB3020C Microbial Biology, to the Biotechniques section of the POS; 4) Add existing courses MCB4203 Pathogenic Bacteriology, ZOO4753 Histology, and ZOO4334C Parasitology, to the Advanced Molecular/Cell courses section of the POS. The Actions 2 and 3 are required because with the removal of the lab, Histology no longer qualifies as a techniques based course. The total credits for the POS do not change as a result of these modifications.

Psychology – Undergraduate

Change a degree-major of an existing program

Bachelor of Science – Psychology Major

Summary of the Changes:
Update the PoS PSB3002 Psychobiology to PSB3002 to Behavioral Neuroscience for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science.
The term "Psychobiology," which is rarely used in the field today, is outdated and unclear. Students cannot determine by the title what the course is about. The name "Behavioral Neuroscience," which is a more modern and precise term, better reflects the course content and its relation to psychology.
