Master of Education - Educational Leadership

Summary of the Changes:

This program of study change is for the MED in Educational Leadership/concentration in Athletic Administration. We are requesting to remove the Practicum in Educational Leadership, EDA 6945 from the program of study and replacing it with a newly developed Practicum in Athletic Administration, SPB (6XXX). The students in this concentration need to gain field based experiences in athletic administration under the supervision of an instructor who is appropriately credentialed to teach it. This will allow provide those students with 18 graduate level courses in athletic administration should they ever consider teaching in the field at the undergraduate level.
