Information Item # 3: Submitted by the Campus Technology Committee (2013-2014/March)
Clicker Selection Update
UNF’s adopted clicker system, CPS, has been
acquired by a competitor and is being sunsetted after this academic year. The Center for Instruction & Research Technology is
working with the Campus Technology Committee to identify a replacement system,
and after a market review is considering two options: iClickers
Technologies. Both solutions will be demonstrated on campus in the coming month and mechanisms for faculty input will be part of those
demonstrations. These clickers are currently used by approximately 2000 students in 17 class sections each
semester. Both systems offer advantages in ease of use over the current system
that is anticipated will increase adoption.
Please look for more information to come via email and in Osprey Update and
contribute to the process. Questions may be directed to Deb Miller in CIRT.
