Information Item # 4: Submitted by the Strategic Planning Advisory Committee          (2013-2014/Feb)

UNF Non-Matriculator Toplines

Declaration:

According to the admission data UNF admitted 2,845 in Fall 2012 and 3189 in Fall 2013 of  FTIC. Students that are enrolled showed 804 in Fall 2012 and 807 in Fall 2013. That left 2,041 in Fall 2012 and 2382 in Fall 2013 unaccounted students.

There was an attempt to contact all FTIC who didn’t come to UNF. Some who were contacted by email never responded (in some cases bad email accounts in others no return after a couple of attempts).  Some of the calls the polling center made never connected.

Of the 615 who responded 23 didn’t answer the question on reason for not coming, 492 gave  responses that fit into the categories included in the table, the remainder gave answers that didn’t fit into major categories: e.g. sister went to UNF and didn’t want to be at the same school, girlfriend was attending another school, wasn’t happy with the school they attended and would be attempting to transfer back to UNF.
