Traffic Appeals Board Bylaws

The Appeals Board shall consist of 4 members from the University and one advisory member from the University Police Department or his designee. The 4 Board members should consist of one from Faculty, one from Staff, one from A & P and one student. The members will be recommended by the University Police Department and appointed by the President of the University of North Florida. Board members will serve on the Appeals Board until terminated by the President or at the request of the Board Member.

The Board will meet on the last Tuesday of each month. Two Board members plus the University Police Department advisory member or his designee need be present for a verdict to be rendered. If for some reason, none of the board member's can be present for the appeals meeting, the UPD or designee has the authority to change all the appeals that were to appear to a warning.
